The Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) credential provides industry recognition for professional developers who build powerful applications using Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET and Web services. Responsibilities include implementing requirements, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining department-level applications components, web or desktop clients, or back-end data services by using Microsoft tools and technologies. The MCAD certification is appropriate for Programmers, Analysts, Software Engineers, Software Application Specialists and Application/Software Developers
The MCAD track allows students to choose the programming language of their choice: Visual Basic.NET or C#.NET.

Acquired Skills

The MCAD certification allows developers to show they have the skills necessary to successfully implement functional specifications and build, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Windows® and Web applications. Demonstrate that you have the ability to successfully implement Microsoft business solutions for your organization or client.

The Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) credential is the premium certification for professionals who design and develop custom business solutions with Microsoft development tools, technologies, and platforms. The credential covers job tasks ranging from analyzing business requirements to maintaining solutions. The MCSD Certification is appropriate for software engineers, software applications engineers, software developers, and technical consultants, to name a few. The MCAD track allows students to choose the programming language of their choice: Visual Basic.NET or C#.NET.

Acquired Skills

By passing your MCSD Certification exams, you are certified to analyze business requirements and, based on your analysis, to design, develop, and maintain leading-edge business solutions with Microsoft development tools, technologies, platforms, and the Windows DNA architecture. You can develop applications such as desktop and multi-user, Web-based, N-tier, and transaction-based applications.
